Who we are
GraceLand Academy is a proprietor-led, community-focused school serving the families of Jambur and surrounding areas in The Gambia’s West Coast Region. Founded in September 2019 by Mrs. Elsie Mansuru, the school was built on a simple but powerful conviction: that every child in this community deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
Over six years, that conviction has grown into an institution that now serves 630 students, employs 21 full-time teachers and 8 support staff, and is locally recognized for structured classroom management,
strong academic standards, and a culture of discipline and care.
